is it the same on both sides?
A shopper on Oct 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it looks the same on both sides.
A shopper on Sep 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I only bought yardage so don't know if the fabric is sold by the bolt or not. I used all that I bought so don't have any samples to send you. I would ask this question of the store...they would be most likely able to provide you with what you need. Sorry I wasn't any help.
Is this a true lame? I am looking to make a large Marie Antoinette style dress and I need to know if this frays like crazy and or is very difficult to sew (I typically work with rayons and cottons)
A shopper on Nov 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This lame does fray and is very thin. As far as sewing goes it's ok sew with, but I do recommend going slow and to use a light weight needle so it does not snag the fabric.
Can it be ironed?
A shopper on Nov 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's best to steam this fabric on a low heat, otherwise it will start to melt due to the metallic in it. You can also put a piece of cotton cloth down (medium to heavy weight) on top of it and gently iron on a low heat.
Does this material have stretch to it?
A shopper on Oct 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, it does not stretch.
Can i draw and cut out pieces?
A shopper on Oct 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The fabric was not supple and raveled like crazy. You would have to stitch around the shapes you wanted and then cut them out. I was not successful using it.
How many yards do I need to make 300 chair sashes?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You can likely fit 5 sashes in the width of the fabric, which means you would need 60 rows. Chair sashes are generally 3 yards long, so that would be 180 yards total. This is assuming the sashes are about 8 to 9 inches wide, which doesn't include any extra for however you want to finish the edges.
Is this fabric flowy? I'm making a wrap dress for my Halloween costume.
A shopper on Oct 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is flowy and very slippery so make sure the hem is high enough not to touch the floor.

Joan B on Sep 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this is a tissue lame fabric.
