How many yards do I need to make 300 chair sashes?
BEST ANSWER: You can likely fit 5 sashes in the width of the fabric, which means you would need 60 rows. Chair sashes are generally 3 yards long, so that would be 180 yards total. This is assuming the sashes are about 8 to 9 inches wide, which doesn't include any extra for however you want to finish the edges.
