Why did you choose this?
Could this be used to make fly masks for horses? Or what kind of mesh material would I use for that? Thank you!
BEST ANSWER: I think this would work well! I have heard of people using this product for horse fly masks.
What is meant by 9 x 9 vinyl? Is that that 9 feet by 9 feet? Inches? Micrometers? It says the width of the (cloth?) is 62 inches, that's 5 feet two inches. Having trouble understanding the measurements.
BEST ANSWER: That is the construction of the fabric. It has 9x9 threads per square inch. It is 62" wide and you can get as long as a piece as you need.
how do you heat seal it?
BEST ANSWER: I suppose you'd use a low temperature sealer, maybe a heated knife for DIY. the things I've made with this mesh required a sewing machine so there was no need for sealing it.
I'd test a small piece to fine tune the temperature.
how tall is it?
BEST ANSWER: It ships on a hard cardboard type roll about 62" long.
Can this be used to upholster an outdoor ottoman exposed to sun and rain?
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this fabric is suitable for outdoor use.
Is 6.5 oz per square yard the heaviest you carry?
What are the hole sizes? Looking for about 1/4 inch squares

Can you sew this with a normal sewing machine?
BEST ANSWER: You should be able to, you may want to use a heavier duty needle.
Does this fabric get hot to the touch? I'm making outdoor dog beds for my Italian Greyhounds.
