- Please Note: The slight creases, shading, size and printing irregularities are characteristic of this retro fabric and add to the oilcloth's unique personality. These will not affect the quality and durability and should not be considered cause for return or considered imperfections. Backings and color lots may vary. The recent Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) prohibits oilcloth garments such as bibs and aprons or toys for children under age 12. This is due to the level of phthalates (a softener present in all vinyl) in the PVC vinyl of which oilcloth is made. It is constructed of vinyl with a poly/cotton scrim backing, printed by rotogravure.
Maximum Continuous Length: Approximately 12 Yards,
when ordering more than 12 Yards please note it may come in more than one piece.
The bold colors and cheerful Mexican pattern make this Lime Green Tehuana Oilcloth Fabric very popular. This quality oilcloth is most commonly used for tablecloths because it’s easy to care for and durable. It’s also used for totes, bag linings, outdoor pillows, drawer and shelf liners, and much more.

Why did you choose this?
are the flowers red or more orange?
BEST ANSWER: a few of the flowers are pinkish red, and some are orangy red. they may not blend well with a true red, but they will go fine with anything else: blues, greens, aquas, white, pink, orange.
Does it ever come in 60inch?
BEST ANSWER: Some of the oilcloth comes in 55" but not 60".
Would this work for a shower curtain if I use a separate vinyl liner?
BEST ANSWER: Not sure how the humidity would affect the backing. I would be afraid it would begin to separate. I use this fabric primarily for tablecloths, aprons, and it makes a very festive book cover! You just wipe it clean. cannot be washed or dried.
Can it be sewn with a regular needle?
BEST ANSWER: I’m sure it can. I used it to reupholster a 1950!s dining chair. I didn’t see it but I used tiny nails. I sit in it every day and it has held up really well. Did it abt a month ago.
The material is t thick at all but it seems to have strength to it.
Hope this helps😊
