Natural Bull Denim is a great place to start your denim journey. It's unbleached and not dyed, allowing the 100% cotton to showcase its pure form and charming character. Bull Denim is a tightly woven cotton fabric that is nice and soft. Although it offers a bit of stiffness, it's still flexible enough to be used in apparel applications. It's great for caps, jackets, pants, and more. It's a durable and easy to care for fabric, though you'll want to be sure to pre-wash it before you begin, as it will shrink. It can also be used in décor, such as for lightweight slipcovers. It's also a functional, durable, and easy to clean choice for tote bags and grocery bags that will wash up easily and take everyday use with ease. This Natural Bull Denim may also be dyed if you desire to achieve a custom color.

Why did you choose this?
Would you recommend for slipcover???
BEST ANSWER: This fabric makes lovely slip covers!
Natural Bull Denim will shrink but not the dyed Bull Denim? Can you give an estimate of shrinkage? I want to make lightweight slipcovers (protection from cat’s claws etc…..) The fabric has to be durable and easily washable. Open to other suggestions!!!! Thank you
BEST ANSWER: I used it in slip covers and on dining chairs, washed in hot first. Seems ok.
Would you be able to see plaid upholstery with red stripes through this fabric?
BEST ANSWER: We believe that this bull denim is heavy enough that you wouldn't be able to see through, but we recommend ordering a sample to be sure.
Is this true, that "Natural Bull Denim will shrink but not the dyed Bull Denim" ? why is that? does the dying process involve hot water and so is already pre-shrunk?
BEST ANSWER: There could be shrinkage on all our bull denim, so we recommend pre-washing any of them. We're not sure if the natural shrinks more and how exactly the others are dyed, but your theory sounds plausible!
Excellent slipcover material. Best price around!
Love this bull denim for sewing slipcovers. I spent many many hours researching online and visiting lots of fabric stores in Md and Va for a good quality and affordable material. At my suggestion, my client ordered 16 yards for me to make a slipcover for her large sofa with six total cushions. We did not prewash the fabric since it’s too bulky and I didn’t want to wash cut pieces and deal with frayed edges and ironing out wrinkles.
It turned out great and my client treated the finished covers with four cans of scotch guard.
