Is this fabric soft enough to sit on?
BEST ANSWER: Yes. It’s basically like muslin or cotton duck. But it’s usually used as a fabric cover for a feather pillow that you will put another pillowcase on. Hello! I’m looking to make zip-close covers for some homemade latex mattresses. I want something that would make a comfortable mattress cover (not too heavy or stiff), but that will also be strong and durable. I am looking at this ticking, sateen, and also the #10 canvas. Which would you recommend? Or some other fabric altogether? Thank you!

these are great to cover my down pillows before I stuff them in the decorative pillow case. These are keeping the pesky feathers from poking out and therefore maintaining their integrity and my sanity. I needed other larger sizes that they didn't carry so I had to purchase those from etsy. My only advice is to add other larger square sizes.
