- Please Note: The slight creases, shading, size and printing irregularities are characteristic of this retro fabric and add to the oilcloth's unique personality. These will not affect the quality and durability and should not be considered cause for return or considered imperfections. Backings and color lots may vary. The recent Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) prohibits oilcloth garments such as bibs and aprons or toys for children under age 12. This is due to the level of phthalates (a softener present in all vinyl) in the PVC vinyl of which oilcloth is made. It is constructed of vinyl with a poly/cotton scrim backing, printed by rotogravure.
Oilcloth is perfect for tablecloths and toppers, window treatments, kitchen accessories, closet drawer and shelf liners, totes, wall coverings or borders, and placemats. This fabric has been tested and passes the National Fire Protection Agency 701 classification for commercial and residential use.

Why did you choose this?
Does this pattern come in any other materials? I am looking to child proof our kitchen chairs, but I'm not sure this material will be good for that. However, this pattern is amazing and I'm not even a big fan of orange! Any suggestions would help! Thank you!
BEST ANSWER: This pattern doesn't come in other materials, but it is very child friendly. The surface is really easy to wipe clean. We recommend ordering a sample to see if it's what you're looking for.
Beautiful and durable oilcloth using as tablecloth
I love the bright colors of this fabric. It is durable and works well for protecting my beautiful table from the sticky fingers of two six month olds who are just learning to eat and an accident prone 3 year old. I’m looking forward to many years of eating and doing crafts on this oilcloth.
