Why did you choose this?
Can you see out but no-one sees in?
BEST ANSWER: This is screening fabric. People can see in, but this is a very nice quality screen product. I bought it to replace the cheap screening that came with my gazebo.
How thick or strong is the screen?
BEST ANSWER: I used this screen to have a 3 foot high area of ventilation running down the sides of my 50 ft long green house. It has survived deer, weather and sun very well and has been in for a full year now. We had a hail storm in the middle of the night last week which woke us from our sleep with hail that shredded our banana tree leaves and rain that caused water to pour over the edges of our gutters. I was anxious to see how the screen and greenhouse plastic survived and both looked untouched by the weather! We are satisfied with it enough that we just built another green house and used this product again. Happy in Washington State.
Im trying to block sun at rv park?
BEST ANSWER: While this screen won't block the sun, it could provide shade.
I'm trying to cover my pool so the leaves stay out my pool is 14 round 42 inches high i want it 6foot wider and longer so i can put it on post over pool...can it be done?
BEST ANSWER: Are you trying to get 14 feet plus 6 feet or 14 feet plus 42 inches plus 6 feet? Either way, it can be done but would need to be seamed since it is only 48 inches wide. We do also offer this product in a 72 inch width which could mean less seams for you.
I need 41x39 inches for window screens replacement?
BEST ANSWER: You would need 2 yards of this product. You could then cut it down to the correct size. It cuts easily with scissors.
Is it 48 ft wide an 100 feet long?
BEST ANSWER: This screen is 48 inches wide and can be ordered by the yard. The amount on a roll is about 33 yards, so a continuous piece would be approximately 99/100 feet.
Can a trim be sewn on to this material with an industrial sewing machine? Or
is the material so hard that it will break the needles?
Can squirrels eat through this material?
BEST ANSWER: Yes. a squirrel could chew through it easily.
Can this be used to replace the netting in a wind deflector on a car?
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure what a wind deflector on a car looks like, but if it's supposed to deflect the wind, I would say no. Wind will go through the fabric. It's very lightweight and flexible.
can I use this on a driveway drain to stop debris from getting in? The grate is too open to stand alone.
BEST ANSWER: I am using this fabric to prevent paper wasps entering a ventilation pipe. It is finely woven and drapes and slides around like silky fabric, it is not firm like a piece of metal screen. So I wrap it over the end of the pipe and secure it with wire. It has kept the insects out.
I am looking for coverage for 16 ft wide and 8 feet long would like it at least 36 to 48 inches wide how much would I need and how much would it be? plain inexpensive window screen nothing fancy
BEST ANSWER: You would need 9 yards of the 72" width or 11 yards of the 48" width. (4 widths of th 48" is exactly 16 feet, so you would not have any extra if you need more for however you plan on installing it.)
Can this keep dust from the air flowing through this mesh?
BEST ANSWER: No, this screen is too open.
Could this be used to replace frayed screening on a pet stroller? Is it safe?
BEST ANSWER: It should be as long as your pet doesn't tear it.

I need netting for the front windows on my boat. I believe the most important issue is visibility thru the netting. During the day at times sun will be on it. So I am thinking black will not glare back. No seeums are occasional issues but flies are the worst while underway. So which cloth gives the best visiblity?
BEST ANSWER: Phifer BetterView has the best visibility and sounds like it would work for you.
Can I use this to repair a broken screen?
BEST ANSWER: You might be able to, but this wouldn't work the way a patch kit would.
Can this be used for a horse fly mask?
Can it keep flies out?
BEST ANSWER: It will. Small bugs mag still be able to penetrate this fabric. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.

BEST ANSWER: Should work!
I'm looking to use outdoor fabric to keep debris from being blown onto my balcony by the wind and pesky leaf blowers. The balcony hangs over right next to a driveway. Is this the best option? I saw that there is a finer mesh that might help more with the dust but seemed like it isn't as durable.
BEST ANSWER: This should work. You could order samples to compare the two and go from there.
Can you cut the screen material with scissors, and can you sew it together as needed to fit, on a regular sewing machine? I'm hoping to cover the windows in my Honda van for camping.
BEST ANSWER: You should be able to cut this with no problem, but sewing may be difficult because of the openness of the weave.
Will this work in direct sun light for patio to in close it and keep bugs out? And last over time?
Does screen keep mosquitoes out?
