I like the fact that is shiny on one side and mate on the other, on one of the special occasion dresses I sewing I'm going to use the mate side for the entire outfit and the shiny one for contrast as ornament.

I will be using this fabric to make robes for bridesmaids. This is the 2nd time I have purchased this fabric for this purpose, going to line them this time with cotton lawn.

Is this too lightweight for kimono style robe? Making 6 kimonos for daughters bridesmaids, don't want "see-through" ladies running around. Thanks
A shopper on Jan 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You'll need an additional layer or two to give the kimonos some body. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
I'm not a math wiz...how much material would I need for a window that's 7' x7'?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Try our drapery yardage calculator: www.onlinefabricstore.net/yardcalc.aspx
When I entered your information, it says 8 yards. You would need to cut 3 pieces of fabric (each about 2.5 yards long) to get the width needed. Assuming you want 2 panels, you would cut one of the pieces in half vertically and sew the halves to the sides of the two other full width pieces. There are other variables that you can enter in the drapery yardage calculator, like the fullness of the drapes, that might change the amount needed, so we suggest trying it yourself, as well.
