Extremely lightweight at 70 denier, Purple Nylon Ripstop is a perfect material for a fun windbreaker or a charming kite sail. Make a windsock or garden banner, or sew fun wind pants and costume clothes that will be light and comfy, with a distinctive paper-bag rustle when two pieces rub together. Coated with urethane, this ripstop is water resistant and, as the name suggests, rip and tear resistant. This ripstop isn't rated for outdoor use such as for hammocks or awnings. BEST ANSWER: The shinier side has the urethane coating.
What is the purple color like? Is it a true purple, or more pinkish?
BEST ANSWER: It is a true purple. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
Which rips top nylon is rated for hammocks?
