Perfect color and texture. Beautiful weight for Santa's suit--not too hot. We have looked all over town and on every internet site trying to match a previously purchased fabric. This is it!

Is this fabric good for coats?
A shopper on Aug 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is surprisingly light weight. Not very hot. Might work if you are in the South, not needing super warm coat. Also depends on what you choose for lining.
Hi, is this a heavy duty fabric? How many cycles?
A shopper on Mar 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would not classify it as heavy duty. We used it for a costume because it is not as hot as the plush velvet, but looks good and is washable. However, there are a couple of worn places from buttons after only one season. I don't know what "cycles" you are referring to.
I want to use this fabric for banners at church...sort of like a curtain application. Other fabrics (from clothing velvet) had comments saying that the fabric was see through and needed a lining. Would that be true of this type of velvet?
A shopper on Oct 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This velvet is not see through. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
Is this crevel?
A shopper on Oct 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Did you mean crewel? This is not embroidered like crewel, the face of the fabric is flocked which gives it a soft, brush-like finish.
